Photo and video privacy masks

JomDating is building optional AI privacy masks for profile photos and in-app video calls. A mask can help you control how recognisable you are while you decide whether and when to reveal more.

Where this option is available, the masked version is shown to other members. The original profile photo may be retained in a restricted area for authorised verification, moderation, and safety investigations only, as explained in our Privacy Notice.

A privacy mask is a personal visibility control. It does not make a member anonymous, replace profile verification, or guarantee another person’s identity or intentions.

Keep control of your information

• Share only what you are comfortable sharing and take your time before moving a conversation elsewhere.
• Never send money, financial details, one-time codes, passwords, or copies of identity documents to another member.
• Treat profile verification signals as one factor, not a guarantee of another person’s intentions.

Meet more safely

• Choose a public place, arrange your own transport, and let someone you trust know your plans.
• Keep your phone charged and leave whenever you feel pressured, uncomfortable, or unsafe.
• In an emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.

Respect is non-negotiable

Harassment, threats, hate, scams, sexual exploitation, impersonation, and attempts to bypass another member’s boundaries are not welcome on JomDating.

Use in-app reporting and blocking tools when they are available. Reports help our team review possible breaches of our community rules.
